Media Alert: Community Safety MEC Hands Over New Cars to Provincial Traffic Officers

Western Cape Minister of Community Safety, Albert Fritz will tomorrow hand over the first batch of Provincial Traffic Law Enforcement vehicles to officers at the Gene Louw Traffic College in Brackenfell.

The Provincial Traffic Department has acquired one hundred (100) new vehicles and the first thirteen (13) of these will hit the road tomorrow. Increased visibility on our roads is part of the law enforcement strategy, as officers are already preparing for the increased traffic volumes on our roads during the upcoming festive season.

Note: There will be interview and photograph opportunities.
