Minister Fritz to handover 20 000 masks to Traffic officers and frontline workers

Today, the Minister of Community Safety, Albert Fritz, will handover 20 000 disposable face masks, provided by Representatives of the Condere Group, to traffic officials. The masks will be further distributed to Neighbourhood Watches, Chrysalis graduate peace officers, EPWP volunteers and others serving on the frontline within the Western Cape’s COVID-19 targeted hotspot areas.

The handover will be attended by the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Bonginkosi Madikizela, and Traffic Chief Kenny Africa. It will be live streamed over Facebook and a video will be distributed following the event.

Time: 12:30pm-13:30pm
