Media Alert: Increasing Safety in Khayelitsha - Safety Summit

On Friday, 21 October, Minister of Community Safety, Dan Plato, will be hosting a Safety Summit in Khayelitsha. Representatives from the Criminal Justice System will be present, as well as representatives from various community organisations and local and provincial government departments.

The Safety Summit will provide an important opportunity for the community of Khayelitsha to raise concerns regarding the Criminal Justice System and to workshop ways in which to make the community safer in a holistic manner.
