Minister Fritz to meet with Cape Winelands safety stakeholders

Tomorrow, the Minister of Community Safety, Albert Fritz, will be hosting a workshop on the Provincial Needs and Priorities (PNP) and Safety Plan of the Cape Winelands District municipality. This workshop will discuss:

·       Improving safety through effective oversight of policing;

·       Making safety everyone’s responsibility; and

·       Optimising safety and security risk management.

Ultimately, this workshop will inform the budget allocated to provincial government in terms of community safety’s reported needs.
