This afternoon, Thursday 21 April 2016, Western Cape Minister of Community Safety, Dan Plato, together with officials from the Department of Community Safety, will engage with the youth, as part of ongoing youth focused safety outreaches.
The Departmental outreach engagements aims to provide more information and the relevant requirements to the youth, their communities, non-governmental organisations operating and the religious fraternity operating in the area on how to successfully partner with the Department of Community Safety on opportunities available specifically to the youth.
The youth and the community concerned about the youth of Kalksteenfontein have the opportunity today to learn more about the partnerships and opportunities available to them, including the Youth Safety and Religious Partnership (YSRP) programme, the Chrysalis Academy and the Northlink Bursary Partnership.
There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
