President Cyril Ramaphosa visits Gene Louw Traffic College

Gene Louw Traffic College had the privilege of hosting a presentation of the Red Dot initiative, a collaboration between the Western Cape Government and the minibus taxi industry to provide critical transport services as part of the fight against COVID-19.

Western Cape Premier Alan Winde and Provincial Minister of Transport and Public Works Bonginkosi Madikizela presented the initiative to President Cyril Ramaphosa on 5 June 2020 during his visit to Cape Town. Among other things, the President was shown how Red Dot taxis are cleaned to keep them safe.
