EMS Alert: Update on the Meiringspoort Pass Accident this Morning

The heavy duty truck was actually found partially in a riverbed with the rear end of the carriage on the N12, and not down an embankment as previously stated.

One adult male was found deceased in the cab of the truck, while a second adult male was found underneath the carriage of the truck. He too was declared deceased by EMS practitioners. Officials are currently trying to remove the truck from the scene.
