WCG Health: EMS Responded to a Motor Vehicle Crash on the N1

13 December 2012

20h01 - N1, direction De Doorns, 50km outside of the town (opposite Bo Plaas) - Crash between a bus and taxi. EMS Rescue Technicians removed 3 deceased (gender unknown) persons from the taxi and medically assessed and treated twenty - one (21) patients travelling in the bus, on the scene of the crash. Seven (7) of the patients were five boys and 2 girls under the age of 12 and one infant. Patients sustained minor to serious injuries and were transported to Worcester Hospital by EMS ambulance.
