Contingency Plans for Patients During the Unrest at De Doorns

Due to the ongoing unrest in the De Doorns area, the Western Cape Government Health has after consultation with the South African Police Service, and in consideration of both staff and patients decided to keep the clinics in the De Doorns area closed for today, Thursday 8th November 2012. Clinics affected:

  • Orchards Clinic
  • Sandhill and De Doorns Clinics

Patients who require emergency assistance can access the ambulance service. Patients who require chronic medication can visit the Worcester Community Day. Staff at the affected clinics has been redeployed to other clinics in the area.
