Strike Update: Western Cape Department of Health

Less than one percent of employees of the Western Cape Department of Health were on strike today.

Western Cape Minister of Health, Theuns Botha, comments: "Our services could continue normally today. I am grateful to employees who continued their service in the wake of intimidation. In the wake of the proposed march tomorrow, I call on our essential health workers to continue their duties at health facilities."
