Media Alert: Metro Emergency Medical Service Certificate Breakfast

Western Cape Provincial Minister of Health, Theuns Botha, will award forty (40) Emergency Medical Service (EMS) staff for serving the Province for twenty (20) years at a special certificate breakfast ceremony at Kirstenbosch Gardens tomorrow morning (3 December 2010).

The department will hand over certificates and gifts to candidates that provided continuous and devoted service to the public. EMS staff provides twenty-four (24) hour emergency medical services. Irrespective of their duty, every staff member plays a vital role in supplying qualitative service to the public. The Minister will address the media shortly after the handing over ceremony.
