Media Alert: Media Briefing to Outline Plans for a Safer Summer

The Western Cape Provincial Government and the City of Cape Town will on Monday (tomorrow) hold a media briefing to outline plans for a Safer Summer.

The media will be addressed by MEC's Albert Fritz (Community Safety), Robin Carlisle (Transport and Public Works), Alan Winde (Economic Development and Tourism), Ivan Meyer (Cultural Affairs and Sport), Theuns Botha (Health) as well as Alderman JP Smith, Mayco Member for Safety and Security.

The panel will outline how each of their portfolios is geared up for a Safer Summer and detail the programmes that are in place to bring this about.

Note: There will be photograph and interview opportunities.
