PUBLIC NOTICE: Ravensmead CHC vaccination clinic decommissioned

16 July 2021

Ravensmead Community Day Centre’s vaccine centre has been decommissioned. Our health platform remains under pressure and COVID-19 cases continue to rise, although at a slower rate. The facility has seen an in increase in demand for COVID-19 testing from the community and surrounding areas, and it will be providing free testing to community members who meet the required criteria.

Going forward, members of the public who need registration and vaccination assistance will be accommodated at the nearby Disa Hall, at Tygerberg Hospital, until Monday, 19 July 2021 for vaccination and registration assistance.

From Tuesday, 20 July 2021, community members can access vaccination and registration assistance, at no cost, at the following public sites:

  • Karl Bremer Hospital
  • Elsies River CHC
  • CPUT Bellville
  • Goodwood Civic Centre

  • Reed Street CDC
  • Symphony Way CDC
