Official Opening of New Ceres EMS Station

The Western Cape Minister of Health, Theuns Botha, will officially open the new Ceres Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Station in the Cape Winelands District on 21 May 2012.

The Ceres EMS Station is one of five new EMS stations that was built to increase emergency medical service infrastructure and to meet the community's necessity for transport to health facilities in the area. The facility will service a population of approximately 90 000 people of the Cape Winelands district, benefiting the Ceres, Tulbagh, Wolseley, Hamlet, Koue en Warm Bokkeveld, Gouda and Saron communities.
