Announcement of Call Centre System to Facilitate Patient Complaints

The Western Cape Minister of Health, Theuns Botha, will announce details on 3 August 2012 of a patient complaint system to be piloted over the next three months at selected health care facilities. Minister Botha will also address patients on the process.

The facilities that will form part of the pilot project are Helderberg Hospital, Tygerberg Hospital, New Somerset Hospital, Wesfleur Hospital, TC Newman Community Day Centre (CDC), Retreat Community Health Centre (CHC), Khayelitsha Site B CHC and Mitchell's Plain CHC.
