Minister Carlisle to Visit Site of Brand New Khayelitsha Shared Services Centre

Robin Carlisle, Minister of Transport and Public Works will visit the Khayelitsha Shared Services Centre construction site on the corner of Steve Biko and Walter Sisulu Street, Khayelitsha on 4 March 2013.

The Centre will bring services offered by the Western Cape Government closer to the people of Khayelitsha. The Provincial Departments to be housed at the Centre include:

• Department of Agriculture.
• Department of Health.
• Department of Education.
• Department of Social Development.

Minister Carlisle will conduct a ceremonial sod-turning at the site, and brief the media on project specific information and the services that will be offered by the user departments.

He will be joined by members of the Khayelitsha Development Forum (KDF), who are also expected to be in attendance.
