Jacqueline Tweedie is appointed as Head of Gene Louw Traffic College

Today, 1 December 2022, for the first time, a woman has been appointed as Head of Gene Louw Traffic College.

Jacqueline Tweedie is well known for the quality of her training and has been active in the traffic community for 28 years. She started as a Traffic Warden at the City of Cape Town in 1994 and completed her Traffic Officer training in 1995.

In 2000 she was promoted to Senior Traffic Officer. Between 2007 and 2009 she worked as a management representative at the Bellville Vehicle Testing Station and Driving Licence Testing Centre.

She then moved over to the Western Cape Government, specifically Traffic Training & Development, where she was appointed as a Principal Provincial Inspector/ Facilitator at the Gene Louw Traffic College.
