Minister Madikizela and SANTACO to sanitise Mitchells Plain taxi rank

As a continued drive to raise awareness in relation to public transport, Western Cape Transport and Public Works Minister, Bonginkosi Madikizela will tomorrow, Thursday 23 July 2020, join SANTACO at the Mitchells Plain taxi rank during a sanitisation of minibus taxis.

Minister Madikizela will use the opportunity to observe SANTACO’s presentation of COVID-19 hygiene at public transport interchanges and ensure transport operators are complying with Alert Level 3 safety restrictions in public transport.

Mitchells Plain has been identified as one of the high risk areas with over 6795 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Minister Madikizela will be joined by SANTACO leaders during the sanitisation of vehicles.
