Construction will take place on the N7 (TR11/01) between the Bosmansdam Interchange and the Refinery Interchange, from 19:00 until 05:00, Sunday to Friday, between 11 March and 24 May 2019.

A road construction project is being undertaken by Roadmac Surfacing Cape to remedy failures in the left-hand lane of the N7 (Trunk Road 11, section 1) between the Bosmansdam Interchange and the Melkbos Interchange.

Night work will be undertaken on the stretch between Bosmansdam Interchange and Refinery Interchange from 19:00 until 05:00, Sunday to Friday, between 11 March and 24 May 2019.

The entire project is expected to be complete in April 2021, if everything goes according to plan.

It is a provision of the contract that traffic must be accommodated with the least delay and discomfort to the public, and no full road closures are allowed. Traffic will be accommodated on the existing road or on temporary deviations. In some instances, single lane closures will be necessary.

The safety and convenience of the travelling public are of utmost importance and every effort will be made to ensure that all temporary road signs, cones, flag operators and speed controls are maintained and are effective, and that courtesy is extended to the public at all times.

The contractor is required to make use of approved methods to control the movement of equipment and vehicles so as not to constitute a hazard on public roads. The public is requested to be patient and exercise caution when using this road.
