Ministers to visit site of Eerste River High School in Blue Downs

On 10 October 2017, Minister of Transport and Public Works, Donald Grant, and Minister of Education, Debbie Schäfer, will be visiting the site of the brand new Eerste Rivier High School in Blue Downs. The school is the final stage of construction, and will be completed by the end of this week.

The new school comprises 33 standard classrooms and 6 specialist classrooms, including:

• 2 multipurpose classrooms,
• 2 science laboratories,
• a multimedia centre, and
• a computer laboratory.

Ministers Grant and Schäfer will conduct an oversight visit of the brand new school building.

All media are invited and welcome to attend. There will be an opportunity for interviews and photographs.
