Ministers to pay visit to new Five Star Green Khayelitsha Shared Services Centre

Western Cape Ministers of Transport and Public Works, Donald Grant, Health, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo, and Social Development, Adv Albert Fritz, will be conducting a site visit to the new “Five Star Green” Khayelitsha Shared Services Centre in the township of Khayelitsha on 8 May 2017.

The centre was commissioned by the Department of Transport and Public Works for the provincial departments of agriculture, education, social development and health, and has been fully occupied and operational since last year.

The building was officially opened last year, and is not fully operational, housing staff from four Western Cape Government departments that are committed to providing services in areas where they are needed the most.

The Ministers will be taken on a tour of the fully operational building, and informed of the services that can be received at the centre by the citizens of Khayelitsha and surrounding areas.

There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.
