Sod turning for new R60 million R300/Bottelary Road interchange

Patricia de Lille, Executive Mayor for the City of Cape Town, Donald Grant, Minister of Transport and Public Works and SANRAL Western Cape will turn the first sod in the R60 million new R300/Bottelary Road interchange in Kuilsriver.

As part of our commitment to address congestion and building quality infrastructure, the City of Cape Town has committed R750 million to various new roads and upgrades across the city to help alleviate congestion.

In November 2015, Mayor De Lille announced various interventions and investments that would address congestion pressure points across the city.

Tomorrow, 10 March 2015, Mayor De Lille and the City’s partners, Minister Donald Grant and SANRAL regional representatives will launch one of these projects, the construction of the new R60 million R300/Bottelary interchange which will bring much needed relief to motorists in Kuilsriver and Brakenfell and surrounding areas.

Location: On site – Kuilsriver
Directions: Take N1, take Old Oak turn off. Carry on along La Belle Road, turn left into Willow Street (at SAB), right into Cecil Morgan and immediately left onto a small gravel road (right before a SONA Park building). Proceed down the gravel road onto the site.
