Media Alert: Minister Carlisle Encourage Motorists to Buckle Up

Two weeks ago, 21 November, Minister of Transport and Public Works Robin Carlisle launched the Safely Home "It Takes a Second to Save a Life" Campaign. The campaign is a multimedia campaign aimed at increasing awareness around the very dire need for more seatbelt compliance among road users in the Western Cape.

On Tuesday morning, 3 December, Minister Carlisle, as part of the campaign, will be at one of Cape Town’s busiest intersections, encouraging motorists and other vehicle occupants to "Buckle Up!"

Venue: Intersection of Hatfield and Orange streets (Engen garage) in Gardens, Cape Town.
