1. Disability specific educational programmes: Information sessions to promote awareness with parents of some of the causes of Cerebral Palsy  aimed at mothers at ante -natal clinics & maternity outpatient units.

2. Awareness raising about Cerebral Palsy during Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week in August aimed at parents and families and general public.

3. Assessment & counselling services for parents and families of newly diagnosed individuals  with cerebral palsy to:

     3.1 improve knowledge and understanding and assist with access to services, resources and opportunities;

     3.2 equip families with the skills necessary to cope with family member with cerebral palsy;

     3.3 develop skills to cope with stresses of daily life;

     3.4 improve quality of care;

     3.5 help families cope with challenging behaviour more effectively.

4. Carers education group to equip carers with knowledge and skills to respond appropriately to challenges of their children with cerebral palsy  aimed at parents and carers of children with cerebral palsy.
