Sandveld Caravan Park

Caravan and camping facilities are outstanding at Sandveld Dorpshuys.  Full ablution facilities for ladies and gents with ultra clean showers, toilets and vanities.  A laundry where you can do washing, a drying yard and ironing facilities.

All sites have water points and electricity.  There are basic provisions available at the Sandveld Dorpshuys to purchase should you run out of basics.  Firewood is always available for your BBQ or camp fire.

Kids will be kept busy all day with farm animals and a wonderful garden and play area to occupy them.

Hidden between patches of bluegum trees and surrounded by a rocky hillside lies the almost forgotten village of Redelinghuys. The famous Verlorenvlei (RAMSAR protected) stretches from the upper reaches at Redelinghuys, 30km north and flows into the Atlantic Ocean at Elands Bay. It makes an excellent base for day trips to the seaside or to explore the scenic country side. Verlorenvlei is renowned for its prolific birdlife (+180 species), indigenous fynbos, flora & fauna, potato farms and unspoilt nature.
