Schools or cultural groups organising a cultural programme or workshop may hire one of the seven cultural facilities in the Western Cape in Melkbosstrand, Stellenbosch, Simondium, Paarl, Oudtshoorn and Koekenaap. The spectacular surroundings, in which each of these facilities is located, are themselves an inspiration to creativity.

Almost all these facilities offer conference and accommodation facilities. Bookings are for groups of 40 (forty) or more and a deposit is applicable.

Weekend bookings are for Fridays from 16:00 to Sunday at 14:00. The facilities are not available for only a part of the weekend, including Fridays.

The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport administers these facilities on behalf of the Western Cape Cultural Commission (WCCC).
