Technology Ecosystem Enablement programme

This programme is aimed at strengthening technology and related sector ecosystems in the Western Cape.  Economic ecosystems play in terms of building the competitiveness of an industry. 

Ecosystem-builders play a key role in fostering a culture of innovation and risk-taking, which is essential for the growth of knowledge-intensive industries by providing a supportive environment where entrepreneurs can experiment, learn from their mistakes, and collaborate with other stakeholders. They contribute to creating the conditions that are necessary to thrive. Ecosystem-builders are essential players in creating an environment where tech & innovation businesses grow, learn, and connect with each other. They play a key role in building and supporting the tech startup community and providing the resources and support that entrepreneurs need to succeed.

Through this initiative, DEDAT partners with local tech ecosystem to advance our agenda to become Africa's Tech capital and support the global competitiveness of local tech start-ups.
