R2.5 million artificial wetland to be built next to the Mbekweni informal settlement in Paarl

Jason Mingo,Task Manager for Ecological Infrastructure and Bioremediation Directorate: Pollution and Chemicals Management was recently interviewed on Cape Talk to discuss the R2.5 million artificial wetland that will be built next to the Mbekweni informal settlement in Paarl in the Western Cape. The wetland will help those farms which are at risk of irrigating with contaminated water.
