This Paper sets out an initial proposal for a coastal policy. It considers reasons for developing such a policy and looks at the characteristics of and issues facing our coastlines. It then sets out some key principles and objectives that could form the basis of a coastal policy.
Green Papers: 1998
Green Papers are draft policy documents, prepared for public consultation. After the consultation period the final policy is published in a White Paper.
