Shelters for Street Children

Description:

Destitute children under the age of 18 years can obtain shelter at any number of shelters specifically for street children.

Children who go to a shelter will be assessed by a social worker and an individual development plan will be drawn up with a strong focus on reunification, either with the child's family or with his or her community of origin.
