Diversion programmes for adults in conflict with the law

Description:

The Department of Social Development, in collaboration with service delivery partners also renders diversion programmes to adult offenders. Adult offenders are referred for diversion at the discretion of the National Prosecuting Authority, and usually for petty offences.

NICRO:
The organisation provides diversion programmes for adults in conflict with the law. In addition, the organisation provides crime prevention programmes at schools in high-risk communities as well as the prevention of gender based violence programmes.
