Fikelela Children's Centre is an outreach program of Fikelela Aids Project. It is situated in Mandela Park Khayelitsha and serves the area of the Western Cape.

They provide a safe, secure and nurturing temporary safe care housing for up to 40 children 0-8 years that have been abandoned, neglected or orphaned, affected or infected by HIV/Aids. Children are nursed back to health and put on anti-retrovirals when necessary, placed into educational facilities and provided with developmental programmes. Fikelela Children's Centre also provides care for children in foster care and orphans in the community.

The aim is to reunite children with their families and where this is not possible, children are placed into good foster homes which are carefully screened and monitored by social workers.
