Services:

1. Information workshops and educational sessions with blind and visually impaired persons, their parents/ families/ caregivers, educational institutions and other public forums on LOFOB and its services, on blindness issues, on the rights of people with disabilities, needs and abilities of blind and visually impaired individuals.

2. Early intervention eye care awareness campaigns on prevention and early intervention opportunities with high risk groups: persons with diabetes, persons with hypertension, persons living with HIV/AIDS, persons living with poor and low vision, with cataracts and other eye conditions.

3. Outreach Programme: information sessions for early identification and intervention of blind and visually impaired children aimed at community development workers, carers, health workers, social workers, at Community Health Care Centres, Community Based Organisations, NGOs (2 sessions  in rural communities & 4 in semi rural communities).

4. Community assessment service: basic daily living skills development and training, orientation and mobility training aimed at blind, visually impaired individuals and their carers.
