Eden

The MOD Sport and Recreation Programme has been operational in the Eden District since mid-2010, contributing to mass participation and opportunity, talent identification and skills development for underserved schools and disadvantaged communities.
 
There is currently a total of 18 MOD Centres in the region, located in various primary schools and high schools. The MOD Programme provides employment and capacity building opportunities for community workers. This supports the key national imperatives for job creation and skills development.

Central Karoo

The MOD Programme has been operational in the Central Karoo District since mid-2010, contributing to mass participation and opportunity, talent identification and skills development for underserved schools and disadvantaged communities.

There is currently a total of eight MOD Centres in the region, located in primary schools, high school as well as on farms and in community centres. Plans are afoot to open more centres. The MOD Programme provides employment and capacity building opportunities for community workers. This supports the key national imperatives for job creation and skills development.
