Minister Marais horrified by Mfuleni mass shooting

MINISTER MARAIS HORRIFIED BY MASS SHOOTING IN MFULENI

Western Cape Minister of Police Oversight and Community Safety Anroux Marais has expressed her horror at the mass shooting which claimed five lives in the Madikizela settlement in Mfuleni on Sunday.

Minister Marais said, “My deepest condolences go to the families and loved ones of the deceased. Urge the South African Police Service (SAPS) to prioritise the investigation into this incident. I want to call on the public to assist authorities with any information which may assist the police probe. Anyone with information that could lead to arrests is encouraged to contact the SAPS on 08600 10111. Together we can beat crime in the Western Cape.”
