<CLOSED>: Call for Expressions of Interest: Schools and Implementing Agents to partner with YearBeyond

As part of the Western Cape Youth-in-Service Programme, the Western Cape After School Programme Office, in partnership with Community Chest, is looking for partners to expand the footprint of the YearBeyond Primary school academic support programme. 

The YearBeyond programme: 

a) provides academic support to learners in Grade 2-4, which strengthens and improves learners’ academic abilities and performance in numeracy and literacy; and 

b) provides unemployed matriculants and graduates, aged between 18-25 years old, with a self-development programme and valuable work experience.

This is a call for expressions of interest for the following partners:

1. Implementing Agents/ Cluster Managers (Organisations or Individuals) to manage one or more geographic clusters.

Applications close 27th September 2019.

Who should apply: Applicants can apply either directly as an independent facilitator, or through as Organisation/Institution who will partner with the Western Cape Government and employ a facilitator to support the implementation of the programme.

2. Primary schools

Applications close 11th October 2019

Who should apply: Schools that would like to be a new site for the YearBeyond Primary School academic support programme; Interested primary schools with fees of less than R100 per month and low grade 3 or 6 Systemics; clusters of schools may also apply.
