Celebrating the passion and commitment of school leaders who enable an environment of extended education at no and low fee schools across the Western Cape

In its third year, this prestigious award is presented at the provincial ceremony of the National Teaching Awards and is accompanied by prize money for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place. Please do encourage promising principals to apply and nominate them today!

Shortlisted nominees will be invited to the Provincial National Teaching Awards Ceremony on the 2nd November 2018, with the provincial winner announced on the night.

Application Process:
Form A: Motivation Form and Supporting Evidence

• Written motivation in terms of the six criteria:

1. Access and inclusivity of disadvantaged communities
2. Advocates for ASP
3. Provision of quality, varied ASP activities
4. Contribution to the morale and ethos of the ASP
5. Partnerships
6. Impact of the ASP on learners and their families

• Supporting Evidence

1. Testimonials from service recipients and/or colleagues;  
2. Example of daily/weekly programme and/or attendance registers’  
3. Photos or clippings (magazines and newspaper articles) displaying any form of recognition

Form B: Self-Motivation

• Nominee to provide motivation that indicates that s/he (a) accepts the motivation and (b) why they should be considered.
