Draft Norms and Standards for the Treatment of Organic Waste – Public Comment

DEFF has published the draft Norms and Standards for the Treatment of Organic Waste [Click].

These N&S cover a wide range of treatment solutions: mechanical, chemical, anaerobic, aerobic, and thermal. 

The purpose of these N&S is to streamline the licensing process for organic waste beneficiation.

Members of the public are invited to submit comments to the notice within thirty (30) days of 29 March 2021. 

All comments are to be submitted to DEFF's Anben Pillay via the contact details in the notice.

the Government Gazette, written representations or objections to the proposed amendments to the following
