We will aim to provide a form of transport wherein Capetonians from all walks of life will find substantial benefit. Mellowcabs aims to roll out 30 vehicles in the Western Cape in the next 12 months. With our aim to employ youths and women, we’d like to employ a ratio of 60% youths and 15% women as drivers and technicians. We will assist these employees to obtain a drivers license and a pdp, send them to training in communication, ethics and service delivery by a certified institution. We will ensure that 30% of drivers receive full tour guide training. We aim to construct and operate at least one Mellowcabs charging station in Cape Town, that makes use of renewable energy sources, such as solar or wind power, within the next 12 months. (One charging station could provide power to at least 10 Mellowcabs)
