This Bill proposes new legislation that will define the rights and responsibilities of children and define parental responsibilities and rights. It also sets out principles and guidelines for the protection of children and the promotion of their well-being and regulates matters concerning the
protection and well-being of children. It consolidates the laws relating to the
welfare and protection of children.
