City of Cape Town Single Invoice for Services

Description:

The City of Cape Town allows ratepayers to consolidate all their City accounts (including rates, water, refuse, electricity and sewerage) for a single property into one invoice.

Instructions:

There are a number of ways to pay your account.

Municipal accounts can be paid at any of the City's cash offices or walk-in centres.

They can also be paid:

  • via a debit order
  • via the Internet or an ATM at all the major banks
  • at Nedbank branches
  • at South African Post Office branches
  • at any EasyPay outlet at Pick 'n Pay, Shoprite/Checkers, as well as at Woolworths, U- Save, Pep and Spar

Remember
As from  1 July 2019 the City of Cape Town do not accept payments by cheque.

If you need help regarding the invoice:

  • Go to any municipal cash office.
  • Phone the Contact Centre on 086 010 3089 between 08:00 and 16:30 (on weekdays).
  • Email your request or query to accounts@capetown.gov.za.
