Information about National Incentives

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) assists businesses in accessing information about national funding programmes. The DTI also aids in the form of financial support to qualifying companies in various sector for the economy

Some of these funds include:

• The Export Marketing & Investment Assistance Scheme (EMIA)
• The Global Business Service Incentive (GBS)

The DTI also provides information on the Employment Creation Fund (ECF). The ECF supports projects and programmes that have a positive impact on employment creation, skills development and capacity building, developing the ‘green economy,’ developing the agriculture and agro-processing value-chain, technology diffusion and commercialisation, public employment creation, rural development and the business environment.
