Green Conference for Public Health Facilities

The Western Cape Government’s campaign to go 110% Green will get a further boost on Friday, 31 October 2014 when the Department of Transport and Public Works hosts its second conference on sustainable design in public facilities at the Southern Sun Hotel in Newlands.

The theme of the conference is Strategies toward Greening Public Health Facilities. After key inputs by a number of experts, participants will discuss practical engineering design methods and approaches which are suitable for South African conditions.

The conference sponsored by Trane Inc. aims to bring the public and the private sector together in service of greener public health facilities design.
