New Home for Western Cape Government Contact Centre

Contact Centre MovingThe Western Cape Government Contact Centre has moved from 142 Long Street, Cape Town to the new concourse at 9 Wale Street.

The new space is situated in the heart of the Western Cape Government precinct and is set to better serve members of the public who are looking for government information.

There will be a shared reception area for the Contact Centre – where WCG staff members will assist citizens with general government-related queries – and the Cape Access programme, which provides free information and communications technology services to members of the public.

Because the Cape Access centre is located on the first floor, there will be a dedicated internet terminal on the ground floor in the Contact Centre for the sole use of disabled citizens.

If you are in Cape Town, be sure to visit our new Contact Centre at 9 Wale Street, where you can speak to one of our friendly communication officers or access free information on government services.

The new Western Cape Government Contact  Centre wants to work with you to make the province Better Together.

The office hours for the Contact Centre and the Cape Access centre are:

  • Monday – Friday: 07:30 - 16:00
  • Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00
