Media accreditation: Western Cape Sports Awards

The annual Western Cape Provincial Sports Awards is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 21 October 2023, at the Cape Sun Hotel, Strand Street, Cape Town.

This year, it will start at 16:30 for 17:00, to be finished well ahead of the 21:00 Rugby World Cup semi-final between South Africa and England. 

The event will honour the top sport stars, administrators and teams in the province, and is the culmination of a process in which each of the Western Cape’s six regions have nominated their respective top contenders as provincial finalists.

Members of the media who want to attend the event must please accredit by Thursday, 19 October by sending an email to jan.joubert@westerncape.gov.za.
