City to Launch Community Adult Education and Training Project

The City of Cape Town will launch the Community Adult Education and Training Project in Old Cross Roads, Nyanga on Friday.

Ward Councillor Depoutch Elese (Ward 36) will officiate.

Venue: Nyanga Training Centre, c/o New Eisleben and Miller Street, Old Crossroads, Nyanga

The Community Adult Education and Training Project is part of the City's Education, Training and Development Strategy which aims to educate and empower members of the community who are either illiterate or semi-literate, as prescribed by the National Skills Development Strategy.

The second phase of this project will be rolled-out in the Tafelsig, Vrygrond and Gugulethu communities at a later stage.
