Ministers and NGO to donate sanitary pads to Gugulethu school-girls

Tomorrow, as part of outreach efforts, the Western Cape Ministers of Social Development, Adv. Albert Fritz, Education, Debbie Schafer, and Human Settlements, Bonginkosi Madikizela, will join NGO partner, Al-Imdaad, to handover 200 packs of sanitary pads.

The packs will be handed over to school-girls at the ID Mkhize Senior Secondary School in Gugulethu.

The Ministers will shortly after that move to a local residential facility for older persons (old age home), Ikhaya Loxolo Lase Gugulethu, to donate walking sticks, hygiene packs and wheelchairs.

There will be opportunities for interviews and photographs.

Date: 18 April 2017 (Tomorrow)

Time: Arrive at 12:00pm at the school for 12:30pm, then 13:30pm at the old age home.

Venue: ID Mkhize Senior Secondary School, NY 50, Gugulethu, and then the Ikhaya Loxolo Lase Gugulethu, Steve Biko Drive, N.Y. 1, Gugulethu
