Gene Louw Traffic College Celebrates 25th Anniversary

25 September 2014

The Gene Louw Traffic College (GLTC) in Brackenfell will celebrate its 25th anniversary on 26 September 2014.

The GLTC website will be launched at the event and the public will be able to access relevant information such as the various courses and services offered by the college. Newsworthy items and features will also be updated on a regular basis.

Since its opening, the college has consistently improved its service delivery to traffic professionals. The efforts of the management and staff over the years have established the reputation of this traffic training institution in South Africa and beyond. This was acknowledged by the Road Traffic Management Corporation at its awards ceremony where the college and staff competed with nine other traffic and municipal colleges and was recognised in all the five categories as the leading traffic training institution in our country.

One of the college’s accomplishments is full accreditation with the Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA), Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) and South African Police Service (SAPS) as an official institution to facilitate and manage firearm training.

It’s evident that the college has been committed to developing a professional and effective traffic management service for 25 years and will continue to do so in the years to come.
