Description:

Nelspoort Hospital caters for both tuberculosis (TB) and mental health patients. The TB patients include multidrug-resistant TB (MDR) and extreme drug-resistant (XDR) patients. XDR patients are mostly from Brooklyn Chest Hospital and MDR patients from Harry Comay in George. Sensitive TB patients are from the Central Karoo. The Nelspoort Hospital, a 92-bed facility and is situated in Nelspoort, a small community several kilometres outside of Beaufort West.

Office Hours:

Visitors are only allowed until 20:00.
Overnight accommodation is available for a maximum of 2 (two) visitors.
Only one or two visitors are allowed in the XDR Unit.
