Institutional Capacity Building (ICB) Programme
DESCRIPTION:
Social Development 2017:
Empowerment Service Provider Partners who Deliver Social Services

Social Development's ICB programme aims to facilitate the building of efficient social development service providers who are resilient, creative and practise good governance.

We work in the poorest communities, where social and economic conditions may lead to those organisations that are best placed to deliver services but lack the necessary resources to be sustainable and comply with legislation.

So, if your organisation works in the field of social development and needs assistance, guidance and support, WE WANT TO WORK WITH YOU

Together, we want to ensure that poor communities have access to services from organisations that understand their needs and can best assist in meeting them.

Institutional Support and Capacity-Building (ICB) Programme:

Our work in the Department of Social Development relies on a network of social development partners who work together to deliver a range of social development services needed in poor communities.

In order to be able to deliver these services effectively, service providers need to be resilient, creative and practise good governance. This means that organisations must be capable of managing both their organisations and their services in an organised manner.

The ICB programme assists organisations by giving them access to information and opportunities that enhance governance, organisational development and funding for the provision of services.
